«Балтийский конкурс музыкальных видеоклипов в рамках SHORT RIGA уже второй год наглядно демонстрирует разнообразие этого жанра в нашем регионе – это не только разнообразные музыкальные стили, но и всё более отличающиеся друг от друга подходы к изображению. В то же время всё это разнообразие что-то объединяет – и это ритм, пульсация. Такой ритмический драйв характеризуется с одной стороны высоким уровнем самоиронии и уходом от претензий по поводу содержания клипов, а с другой стороны – утрированным великолепием, красочностью, даже экстравагантностью. И в этом году многие песни снова будут на национальных языках стран Балтии, а затронутые в них темы будут порой затрагивать национальную тематику. Эта программа обозначает музыкальные видеоклипы в Балтии как платформу, которая используется для различных целей, в том числе для того, чтобы говорить об истории, популяризировать свою страну и экспериментировать с аналоговым материалом в видеосреде. Этот калейдоскопический взгляд на происходящее в Балтии помогает увидеть как новых талантов, так и долгожданные возвращения на музыкальную сцену».
