This year it is of special significance due to the author of the film being one that has been a member of the festival team since the first year \u2013 Vitaly Mansky, president of Artdocfest and curator of the Artdocfest\/Riga programme. Vitaly&#8217;s second Latvian production \u2013 the personal story of his relatives in Ukraine \u2013 Rodnye will have it&#8217;s premiere in Latvia after a most successful run in festivals that take place before this October \u2013 such as IDFA, KVIFF, OIFF and TIFF.
